What exactly will your puppy be learning?

We believe the core skills & experiences your puppy should be exposed to are:

  • SKILLS – leash manners, sit, stay, name recognition, leave it, off, come, eye contact/engagement, impulse control exercises such as remaining calm during stimulating environments, sitting/offering eye contact before going in and out of thresholds/confinement, crate/confinement training, potty training support, address puppy behaviors such as illegal mouth use and barking.
  • GROOMING ACCLIMATION – positive introduction to basic grooming tasks such as nail trims, bathing, brushing, blow drying, ear cleans and restraint.
  • SOCIALIZATION – positive exposure to staff, variety of stimuli: sounds such as vacuums, blow dryers, doorbell & dogs barking and other novel experiences so your pup can become well adapted and have positive coping strategies. Dog-to-dog socialization with our own carefully selected “Puppy Ambassador Dogs” to begin to develop healthy play behaviors and begin to learn healthy communication. ALL of this is accomplished while preserving the safest environment possible, since the vaccination series is not yet complete.
