Cassie
Owner and General Operations Manager
“I’ve been employed by our amazing clients since 2006. My farm, home, and heart belong to a Jack Russell Terrier (Lego), a cat (Fluffy), horses (Billy, Kringle, & Texas), donkey (Lilac), miniature pony (Nugget), Nubian goats (Spanky & Alfalfa), Valais Blacknose mixed sheep (Oscar, Olli, and Orville), and a whole bunch of feathered friends (ducks and chickens)”. Cassie’s favorite pastimes are caring for all the critters on the farm, horseback riding, clay shooting or range shooting, skiing, and enjoying time with family. Cassie is appreciated for advancing the Pet Care Industry, by identifying and expanding services.
Remi
Daily Operations Manager
“I was a student intern at OPR in 2012 and never left! I love meeting all of the new kiddos that come in to visit the Resort, developing relationships with our long-time clients, and ensuring our daily operations uphold the Mission & Vision of Oscar’s Pet Resort. I enjoy being outside, working odd jobs, playing volleyball, and spending time with my horse, General. I enjoy having my dogs, Juno & Jack, join me at work every day!” Remi is appreciated for her ability to organize, stay organized, keep everyone else organized (including Cassie), her passion for quality pet care, her expertise in managing dog group play, as well as always knowing when to bake cakes for staff birthdays! Remi has an incredible memory, and we appreciate her remembering the smallest of details from 10 years ago! 🙂
Kristina
Dog Trainer
“I have been working with Oscar’s Pet Resort since 2007. I started out learning to be a Pet Care Technician before going back to school to become a Dog Trainer. In 2011 I became a Certified Trainer and developed the Puppy training program here at the Resort. I enjoy being outside and being adventuresome with any new activity.” Krissy is appreciated for her loyalty, experience, her angelic singing, and her love for any adventure. Krissy is Mom to a Australian Shepherd, Astro.
Erica
Guest Specialist
“I joined the OPR team in August 2016. At home I have a big Boxer (Ray). Outside of work I like to read, work out, and go to concerts. I also love teach Ray new tricks. I enjoy making sure guests are checked in/out, taking reservations for all services, and building relationships with our clients!” Erica is appreciated for being the first to say “Yes!” to anything we ask, her ability to help support & hold dogs for nail care, and her ability to know a client by the car they drive! 🙂 Occasionally we get Erica out of her office responsibilities to play with dogs… which she thoroughly enjoys!
Kara
Dog Trainer
“Hi I’m Kara! I’ve been working at Oscar’s Pet Resort as a Pet Care Technician since 2018. Before I started working here I went to CTC to be certified as a Veterinary Assistant. I became a Dog Trainer at OPR in 2022. I graduated from Victoria Stilwell Academy, and I’m still working on expanding my knowledge on Dog Behavior. A few fun facts about me: I love to dance, I’ve danced ever since I was four years old. I starting coaching my senior year and have been a Competition coach for four years as well! I have 4 amazing dogs: Maggie (Boston Terrier), Rommel (German Shepherd), Willow (Texas Heeler) and Gamora, (German Shepherd mix) . I love my OPR family and I always enjoy meeting new people and our long term clients! ” Kara is a proud mom to her son, Owen and enjoys having a flexible schedule to allow her time to be with her family. Kara is appreciated for her patience and soft approach, as well as her experience.
Kara takes care of all the puppy training in our Puppy & Day Training Program so if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask Kara!
Ashley
Dog Groomer/Stylist
Ashley joined our Grooming team in May 2025 and is valued for her ability to provide our clients a clean, beautifully styled dog while providing the dog a positive experience. Ashley has a reassuring demeanor that helps coach a dog through the grooming process and is a friend to anyone she meets. Ashley can be found jamming to heavy rock in the shop and enjoys her pets Hank, Karma, and Beans. When not at work Ashley enjoys riding her motorcycle and playing video games.
Emily
Pet Care Technician Level 2
Emily joined us in February 2023 and we enjoy her being a part of our team. Emily is willing to learn whatever we throw at her, positive, and enjoys the hard work that comes with caring for your pets! Emily is progressing in her Pet Care Level 2 Technician skills. When not at work you will find Emily spending time riding horses and spending time with her dogs, Otso and Ayla, as well as her horse, Lee.
Natalie
Pet Care Technician Level 2
Natalie recently joined our team in June 2025 and has extensive background and knowledge in pet care. Natalie brings a fun loving energy to work everyday, along with her experience! She looks forward to getting to know all of our clients! Look for more of Natalie in the front office in the upcoming months. Don’t forget to ask her about her goats Pizza and Nellie :).
Ava
Pet Care Technician Level 1
Ava officially took on the Pet Care Technician role upon turning 16. Ava has been working along her mom, Cassie, since the age of 10. Ava immensely enjoyed helping her mom with bedtime potty for the overnight boarding dogs starting at the age of 10, although Cassie recalls toting Ava in a baby carrier on her back while working with the dogs since Ava was born. So one can say Ava grew up in the business. Ava is a Senior in high school and is treasured for her soft spirit and her willingness to be available in any area of need.
Trisha
Pet Care Technician Level 3
Trisha joined our team in August 2023 as a Pet Care Technician Level 2. Trisha is appreciated for her quick wit, kind & positive personality, as well as detailed & doting concern over the guests. Trisha is Mom to a German Shepherd, Whiskey and a horse, Nikki. When not at work you will find Trisha spending time hiking with her dog, Whiskey and/or riding her horse, Nikki. Trisha developed her skills quickly into a Level 3 Technician due to her responsibility and quick learning ability. She has strong compassion for the boarding guests, as well as a passion for learning dog behavior, in both individual and group play dynamics.
Gabrielle
Private Play Specialist
Gabrielle has been working on weekends, specifically focusing on enrichment play & activities with our overnight guests since July 2023. We appreciate Gabby for her upbeat sense of humor, a “friend to all” personality, and her ability to jump in where ever she is needed. Gabby enjoys spending time playing and grooming her dog, Maxey, as well as snowboarding, golfing, and watching NBA and NFL (a BIG Philly fan).
Tara
Pet Care Technician Level 2
Tara recently joined our team in July 2025 and comes with experience working in a dog daycare. Tara has a constant and caring presence that our guests adore! Outside of work Tara can be found spending time with her kids and dogs, whether paddle boarding down the river with her pups or any activity at the water.
Brooke
Pet Care Technician Level 2
Brooke recently joined our team in September 2025, coming with vet technician experience and love for animals! Brooke has a soft approach and is a friend to all. Outside of work Brooke enjoys baking, listening to country music, exploring National parks, and spending time with family.
Jocelyn
Pet Care Technician Level 2
Jocelyn joined our team in October 2025. She is currently in college and majoring in the pre veterinary program. She has been developing pet care and dog bathing skills for the past 2 years and is a quick learner. Outside of work Jocelyn enjoys art, music, watching football, or spending time with her family.
